LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Arkansans who were adopted now have access to their once-sealed adoption records, under a new state law that took effect Wednesday. 280 words.
— ARKANSAS REVENUE — Arkansas finance officials say the state has begun its fiscal year with revenue coming in above expectations.
— ARKANSAS CORRUPTION-WILKINS — A sentencing hearing is scheduled for later this month in the case of a former Arkansas lawmaker and county judge who pleaded guilty to accepting more than $80,000 in a corruption probe that has ensnared several former legislators and others.
— LEVON HELM-BOYHOOD HOME — The eastern Arkansas home of The Band musician Levon Helm has been added to the state Register of Historic Places.
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas opens its first preseason camp with new coach Chad Morris at the helm on Friday. Expectations from the outside are low for the Razorbacks this year, but Morris is confident they are ready to begin the process of re-establishing themselves in the Southeastern Conference after one of the worst six-year stretches in school history.
