STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) — No. 24 Oklahoma State overcame a slow start to defeat Central Arkansas yesterday 91-63. Le’Bryan Nash scored 19 points and Markel Brown added 14 points for the Cowboys. Oklahoma State fell behind by 11 in the first 8 minutes of the game, then responded with 13 straight points.

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — Christian Foggie had 17 points yesterday as Vanderbilt upset No. 12 Oklahoma 76-63. Tiffany Clarke added 16 points and Jasmine Lister scored 16 for Vanderbilt. Oklahoma’s Aaryn Ellenberg led all scorers with 21 points.

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) — Tiffany Bias scored 18 points yesterday as No. 16 Oklahoma State walloped Vermont 83-30. Brittney Martin, Toni Young, Kendra Suttles and LaShawn Jones also scored in double figures for the Cowgirls. OK State forced Vermont to commit 32 turnovers.

AMES, Iowa (AP) — Iowa State running back Shontrelle Johnson will miss the Liberty Bowl against Tulsa because of a knee injury. Cyclones coach Paul Rhoads says Johnson injured his knee during practice on Saturday. Johnson leads Iowa State with 504 yards rushing.
