Police recover body found at mouth of Vermont creek
FERRISBURGH, Vt. (AP) — Vermont State Police say they recovered a body from the mouth of a creek.
Police say two kayakers discovered the body around 3 p.m. Sunday at Lewis Creek in Ferrisburgh. Several rescue personnel responded to the scene, and they say foul play is not suspected.
Police have identified the body but are withholding the name until next of kin is notified. The chief medical examiner’s office will be performing an autopsy.
