Massage parlor owner arraigned on prostitution charge

July 28, 2018

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — The owner of several New Hampshire massage parlors has pleaded not guilty to facilitating prostitution.

Ken Ma owns Oriental Body Works in Exeter, which was raided by federal authorities last fall. He was charged with violating the federal Travel Act and arraigned Friday in Concord.

Ma’s attorney told the Portsmouth Herald that he will work with the government to figure out why his client was charged, and that Ma looks forward to proving his innocence.

Ma, who also owned businesses in Plaistow and Salem, is scheduled to go on trial Sept. 18.
