Montana’s Zimmerman Elected President Of U.S. Jaycees
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ Kenneth H. Zimmerman, 33, of Hamilton, Mont., has been elected the 66th president of the U.S. Junior Chamber of Commerce.
Zimmerman was elected Wednesday, defeating Ken Freiberger of St. Louis at the national convention of the organization.
Zimmerman has served during the past year as a national vice president, making regular visits to his assigned states of Alabama, Delaware, Georgia, Michigan, Montana and North Dakota.
He is a native of Council Grove, Kan., and joined the Jaycees in Junction City in 1977.
He is a past state president of the Montana Jaycees.
The Jaycees ended their convention Thursday with a parade in downtown Indianapolis.
