Pike County President Judge Gregory Chelak sentenced the following:

William Albert Swendsen, 34, Honesdale, 12 to 30 months in a state correctional facility, $2,250 fine and 36-month driver’s license suspension for DUI, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and a summary offense Jan. 1, 2016, in Palmyra Twp.

Tyler Jerome Edwards, 30, Waterbury, Conn., 72 hours to six months in the Pike County Jail, $1,000 fine and 12-month driver’s license suspension for DUI on Dec. 12 in Greene Twp.

William Patrick Francois, 34, Milford, one to six months in the Pike County Jail, followed by six months of probation, $500 fine and six-month driver’s license suspension for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia on July 7, 2017, and Sept. 3, 2018, in Dingman Twp.

Elsie G. Francois, 49, Milford, 59 days to 18 months in the Pike County Jail, $600 fine and six month driver’s license suspension for possession of a controlled substance and criminal trespass on May 14 and Sept. 3 in Dingman Twp.

Robert Buchko, 52, Greeley, five years of the IP Pike Care Program, including 90 days of house arrest, a $1,500 fine and 18-month driver’s license suspension for DUI on March 30 in Lackawaxen Twp.

Jennifer Leight Tants, 26, Hawley, five years of the IP Pike Care Program, including one year of house arrest, a $2,500 fine and 18-month driver’S license suspension for DUI on Sept. 25, 2017, in Dingman Twp.

Benjamin Thomas Shrek, 22, Hawley, 72 hours to six months in the Pike County Jail, $1,000 fine and 12-month driver’s license suspension for DUI on April 7 in Palymra Twp.

Charles M. Strouse, 30, Milford, five years of the IP Pike Care Program, including 90 days of house arrest, a $1,700 fine and 18-month driver’s license suspension for DUI and a summary offense July 7, 2016, in Delaware Twp.

Michael Bret Podell, 23, Hawley, six months of probation and $300 fine for possession of drug paraphernalia May 4 in Palmyra Twp.

Joshua Michael Rose, 27, Dingmans Ferry, one to 23 months in the Pike County Jail and $1,000 fine for criminal trespass and simple assault Feb. 26 in Milford.

Clarence Theodore Snyder, 33, Dingmans Ferry, six to 24 months, less one day, in the Pike County Jail and $500 fine for receiving stolen property on May 30 in Matamoras.
