Rebecca R. Flegal, 31, of Watertown, went home to be with her Savior on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2019, at Watertown Regional Medical Center.

Rebecca was born on Dec. 5, 1987, in Monroe. She was the daughter of James and Joyce (Currie) Jensen. In her hometown of New Glarus, she married Benjamin Flegal on May 10, 2014, and the couple enjoyed four years of marriage. Rebecca was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Watertown and worked for many years as an administrative assistant for Maranatha Baptist University. Rebecca enjoyed life; she had a very outgoing personality and was known by many as helpful, reliable, resourceful and spunky. In her free time she enjoyed spending time with her husband visiting zoos, museums and libraries; above all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Rebecca was a loving and beloved wife and was loved by many and will be dearly missed by those who were blessed to have known her.

Rebecca is survived by her husband, her parents, sister Katheryn (Jon) Eads, father- and mother-in-law Gregory and Linda Flegal, brother-in-law Matthew (Becky) Flegal, sisters-in-law Jeannie (Ken) Schoonbeck, Hannah Flegal and Lydia Flegal. She is also survived by a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Rebecca was preceded in death by her grandparents.

A funeral service for Rebecca will be held on Sunday at 5 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Robert J. Loggans presiding. A visitation will be held at the church from 3 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will take place on Monday at 11 a.m. at Ebenezer Moravian Cemetery in Watertown.
