Tim Gallic, principal, and the faculty and staff of St. John XXIII College Preparatory, Katy, announced on May 24 the valedictorian and salutatorians for the 2019 graduating class.

Caitlyn L. Cano earned the honor of valedictorian. Tied for the honor of salutatorian are Abby F. Hollman and Adley G. Marsh.

Interests and activities at St. John XXIII included choir, National Math Honor Society, National Science Honor Society, National Spanish Society, choir, Girls’ Cross-County Team Captain, track, student government, theatrical productions, and volunteerism at Brookwood Community Center.

Hollmann will attend the University of Rice to study environmental sciences. Achievements include membership in National Honor Society, National Science Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, and swim team, serving as its captain for multiple years. She also served as a Lion Ambassador and Link Crew participant; these two appointments enabled Marsh to be an advocate for the school and assist freshmen as they adjusted to campus.
