Sporadic road, residential flooding as another storm moves through
Wet weather continued to pound the Pittsburgh region, with National Weather Service officials issuing a flash flood warning for southwestern Westmoreland County as a sizable storm system moved through early Thursday evening.
Estimated rainfall was up to an inch with an additional half-inch possible, according to the warning.
The warning expired at 6:45 p.m. Emergency officials have received sporadic reports of road and basement flooding.
