MU Game balls

September 2, 2018

Offense QB #17 Isaiah Green

In his first collegiate game, Green didn’t look the part of a redshirt freshman, finishing 24-of-37 for 272 yards and two touchdowns while engineering the Herd to a win. Green connected well with Tyre Brady and performed well through adversity in the fourth quarter.

Defense LB #37 Chase Hancock

Hancock finished with 11 tackles, including a tackle for loss and a pass breakup in the Herd’s win. Hancock had a key solo tackle on the 2-yard line with Miami (Ohio) on the Herd’s doorstep in the third quarter. The drive ended in a turnover on downs following two incompletions following his tackle.

Special teams RB #3 Tyler King

King made the play of the game, returning a punt 50 yards to set up a touchdown that forged a two-score drive. Granted, King lost his head on a mistake late, but averaging 25 yards on punt returns and adding a 31-yard kickoff return helped him overcome the gaffe. - Grant Traylo
