Rain derails Dillon Home’s Haunted Train Walk until next week
STERLING – The Dillon Home’s Haunted Train Walk has been postponed until Oct. 13, due to the wet weather forecast for this weekend.
Bring a flashlight and take a spooky stroll through grounds at the historic home at 1005 E. Third St., where a skeleton crew will bring its locomotive to life from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
There will be photo ops with gobs of ghoulish creatures, and goodie bags for the kids, who must be accompanied by an adult if there are younger than 18.
Admission is free; call the Sterling Park District at 815-622-6200, or check its Facebook page for more information.
