Venture X continues expansion in Texas

January 16, 2019

HARLINGEN — Office space-sharing company Venture X will have eight new locations in the first quarter of 2019, including three more in Texas.

Company officials announced yesterday the firm would add sites in Dallas, Houston and Frisco.

Venture X, based in Naples, Florida, has leased the entire second floor of the Stuart Place Crossing retail building located at Stuart Place Road and I-2/U.S. Expressway 83 on the west side of the city. That space totals about 9,000 square feet.

The company has another location in Brownsville at 222 N. Expressway 77/83.

Venture X offers an array of space-sharing options based on the open-office concept. For a fee which slides up the scale depending on amenities, an entrepreneur can rent a private office, ensure a seat at a common shared desk or merely lease a virtual office with mail and package delivery.

Venture X has been especially aggressive of Texas, and in addition to Harlingen and Brownsville locations, has office sites in Las Colinas Village, Dallas, Plano, Richardson and San Antonio.

New Venture X locations will open early this year in Orlando and Doral, Florida, Farmington, Utah, Richmond, Virginia, Marlborough, Massachusetts and Indianapolis. Other planned openings will be in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Pleasanton, California.

“The growth of the Venture X brand has been tremendous, and we are committed to moving more resources to support expansion,” said Ray Titus, CEO of parent company United Franchise Group, said in a statement. “Venture X has quickly become a top tier player in the shared workspace environment because we meet the needs of more seasoned professionals and established brands.”

The company also announced the appointment of a new brand president, Jason Anderson, with Tom Weber shifting to executive vice-president of operations.
