Darlington school board recognizes students with exceptional test scores
DARLINGTON, S.C. – Fifteen students earned recognition Monday during the Darlington County Board of Education’s January meeting.
The students either recorded perfect scale scores on the SC READY test or the maximum raw score on the SCPASS test in 2018.
The students and their families packed the board meeting room, where they were recognized by Superintendent Tim Newman; Carlita Davis, the assistant superintendent for curriculum, instruction and assessment; Warren Jeffords, the board chairman; and their principals. The students posed for photos and received trophies honoring their academic achievements.
