5 arrested on drug charges after raid

BULLHEAD CITY — Five people were arrested last week in connection with reports of methamphetamine sales.

Taken into custody at a residence in the 700 block of River Gardens Drive were:

Michael Oliver Furrow, 35, on suspicion of possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.Christy Ann Tyler, 40, on suspicion of possession of dangerous drugs for sale, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.Carol Ann Rusk, 55, on suspicion of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.Terry Dean Fowler, 62, on suspicion of child abuse per domestic violence, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.Dama Arlene Lofflin, 38, on suspicion of child abuse per domestic violence, possession of dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Mohave Area General Narcotic Enforcement Team had been investigating the location for several months, said spokeswoman Emily Fromelt of the Bullhead City Police Department. MAGNET executed a narcotic search warrant there Friday.

Methamphetamine, marijuana, alcohol, and drug paraphernalia, including used syringes, were found in the bedroom of Fowler and Lofflin, within reach of their 4-year-old son, Fromelt said Monday.

The child was placed in the custody of Arizona Department of Child Safety personnel. Each of the suspects was taken to the Mohave County Jail in Kingman.
