INTERSTATE FATALITY — Authorities say a driver died and her passenger was injured when the vehicle they were in crashed off Interstate 80 in Lincoln.

NEBRASKA STATE FAIR-ATTENDANCE — Officials say attendance dropped more than 64,000 this year compared with last year’s Nebraska State Fair in Grand Island.

RAVINE BODY — Authorities say a man paroled in June is suspected of killing an Omaha woman and dumping her body in a ravine near Fremont.
