Gun theft suspect arrested at donut shop
PRIMERA — A man wanted for questioning about missing guns was arrested this morning at a doughnut shop.
Police Chief Manuel Trevino said Hunter Grayson was arrested at Shipley’s Donuts after the police received a tip from Crime Stoppers that Grayson was going to be at Shipley’s to meet someone.
Trevino said Grayson is a 20-year-old Primera resident. He will be arraigned this afternoon. He was wanted in connection to a homeowner’s report that guns and coins were stolen from a gun safe inside the home.
Police say a Crime Stoppers tip indicated Grayson may have pawned some of items. They said a search of the National Pawn Shop Database revealed where some of items were located and who had pawned the victim’s items.
