ECHL suspends Marsh 2 games
The Rapid City Rush’s Adam Marsh has been suspended two games by the ECHL for his hit on the Komets’ Marco Roy - away from the puck Marsh changed direction, left his feet and hit Roy in the head - which didn’t draw a penalty in Rapid City’s 4-2 victory Friday.
The hit did set off a fracas between Marsh and Taylor Crunk in what was a fight-filled game.
It’s the second consecutive game a Rapid City player has been suspended; Garrett Klotz was suspended a game for being an aggressor when he drove Anthony Petruzzelli headfirst into the boards Wednesday.
The Komets and Rush play again tonight.
