Grand jury indicts man accused of shooting estranged wife
NORTH BEND, Ore. (AP) — A grand jury has indicted a 54-year-old man accused of fatally shooting his estranged wife and injuring her adult daughter in their North Bend home.
The World reports Glen Frank Mason was charged Friday with murder with a firearm in the death of 53-year-old Leslie Mason.
He was also charged with three counts of attempted murder with a firearm, assault with a firearm, three counts of unlawful use of a weapon with a firearm and six counts of reckless endangerment.
North Bend officers responded to reports of gunshots and screaming Nov. 13 and found Mason dead.
Authorities say Leslie Mason’s daughter, 28-year-old Lindsay Pease, was shot multiple times and remains hospitalized in Portland.
Officers also found three minor children in the home.
It wasn’t immediately known if Mason has a lawyer. He remains in Coos County Jail.
