Goslings sweep Edgewood, finish 7-0 in Badger South regular season
MADISON — Watertown’s volleyball team closed out the Badger South dual match slate 7-0 with a 25-9, 25-17, 25-16 win over Edgewood on Thursday.
Junior setter Isabelle Schauer put up 18 assists, served six aces, came up with seven digs and recorded two blocks for Watertown (33-5, 7-0 in conference). Sophomore outside hitter Alayna Westenberg led the Goslings in kills with nine.
Senior middle and outside hitter Brianne Korducki added six kills. Senior libero Sheridan Dettmann led the team in digs with 11. Junior defensive specialist Danielle Weissenrieder served three aces.
Watertown travels to Stoughton for the Badger South tournament on Saturday.
“We’ll go in and hopefully play like we know how to and take care of it on Saturday,” Watertown volleyball coach Carrie Hein said.
