Gunman who killed 2 in California sought
LYNWOOD, Calif. (AP) — Authorities are searching for a gunman who killed two people and wounded four others, including his pregnant girlfriend, in Southern California.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department says the man was visiting friends in Gardena early Tuesday when he became upset for some reason and pulled a gun.
One woman was shot and killed. Authorities say the man also wounded his pregnant girlfriend, who’s expected to live.
A man was hospitalized in serious condition and a woman was treated at a hospital and released.
An investigator says the gunman later carjacked a married couple, forced them to drive him to Lynwood and shot the husband when they arrived.
City News Service says the gunman also tried to shoot the man’s wife but his gun jammed and he fled.
