Bridgeport PD looking to raise money for 200 bicycles

BRIDGEPORT — City cops are trying to raise enough money to buy bicycles for children of struggling families for the holidays.

Operation Bicycle, run through the Bridgeport Police Department, aims to get enough money to buy 200 bikes for the children.

Donations to the ongoing operation are accepted in cash or check form. Checks can be made payable to the Bridgeport Police Officer Friendly Program.
