I&M gives $400,000 to local Community Action agencies
Indiana Michigan Power is giving community action agencies in Indiana $400,000 to help Hoosiers pay their energy bills this winter.
The money is broken down into three installments:$125,000 for the Energy Share program to help customers pay their seasonal bills; An additional $125,000 in 2019; and $150,000 to the Indiana Community Action Association to weatherize homes of income-qualified customers.
Customers wanting to apply for energy assistance should go to the Community Action agency that serves their area, I&M said.
