Megashow returning in March

January 9, 2019

The Somerset County Chamber of Commerce and the Somerset County Builders Association have announced the return of the Megashow Home, Garden & Business Expo March 23-24.

Since its creation in 2010, the Megashow has grown in popularity, evolving from a biennial event to one held each year. In 2018, booth spaces sold out more than a month prior to the show, so event organizers have added additional exhibit spaces to accommodate businesses.

“Booth sales for the 2019 Megashow have already been quite brisk and we will absolutely sell out of space this year, even after reformatting the venue exhibit space,” chamber Executive Director Ron Aldom said in a press release.

The Megashow attracts more than 2,000 people annually. The show includes a designated area for women, children’s activities, a food court, prize drawings and a variety of vendors, including car dealers, home contractors and tourist attractions.

Held in the former Builders Surplus building at 1736 N. Center Ave., Somerset, the Megashow is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. March 23 and noon to 5 p.m. March 24. Admission is $3 per person and free for children ages 12 and younger.

Registration is open for exhibitors. Members of the chamber and SCBA receive a discount when registering. Booths are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.

For more information or to register for the show, contact the builders association at 814-267-5564 or the chamber at 814-445-6431. Information and registration forms are also available online at www.somersetcountybuilders.org/megashow-march-2019/.
