3 Waltham teens charged in beating death
WOBURN, Mass. (AP) — Three juveniles from Waltham are facing manslaughter charges in connection with the beating death last year of a 34-year-old man.
Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan says the two 16-year-old boys and a 17-year-old youth hit Thierry Tullus in the head with a rock, punched and kicked him, then robbed him and stole items from his vehicle.
Tullus was found dead in his car on August 18.
Authorities say Tullus drove with the teenagers to the Overland Road area in Waltham. The four walked to a wooded area undergoing construction where authorities allege the teens beat Tullus. After the beating, the victim walked back to his vehicle and drove it a short distance before parking.
One of the teens faces arraignment Tuesday, the other two in August.
