Exciting projects coming soon to Houston market
Up-and-coming construction for luxury high-rise buildings continues to have a strong presence in the Houston real estate market.
Whether you’re an empty nester, young professional or just someone looking for a lock-and-leave lifestyle where luxury meets convenience, there’s something for you in every corner of Houston’s prime real estate locations.
“There are a number of very exciting buildings that are and will be coming onto the market. I am seeing a number of new buildings going up or nearly complete in the most desirable areas in town. Most are concentrated in the Galleria/Uptown, River Oaks, downtown and Memorial Park neighborhoods,” said Rosie Meyers of John Daugherty, Realtors.
According to BisNow.com’s January 2018 article, 14 Projects Under Construction That Are Reshaping Houston, Caydon Property Group from Australia is building The Midtown.
Slated for 29 stories, it will offer 342,000 square feet of residential space with 357 units.
Anticipated move-in is early 2019.
For those looking to live in the Inner Loop, plenty of choices await, from the Heights to River Oaks to Upper Kirby.
Home shoppers can find properties to suit all types of needs from larger high-rises to cozy midrise selections.
The Giorgetti, which features 32 bespoke residences, is a seven-story midrise in Upper Kirby, while the midrise Topaz Villas in the Montrose area offers 15 homes with modern finishes and classic Italian touches. Near these is the Mimosa Terrace at 2800 Kirby, which has 11 luxury homes in a midrise setting.
In the River Oaks proximity, there are several to choose from, including The Revere at River Oaks, a nine-story, 33-unit luxury boutique midrise from Pelican Builders; and The River Oaks, a 17-story redeveloped high-rise with garden, tower and penthouse residences.
Or shoppers can discover Sims Luxury Builders’ property, Riva at The Park, a 10-story luxury condo project, centrally located at 3331 D’Amico near River Oaks and Buffalo Bayou Park.
The Sophie at Bayou Bend, a gated community at 6017 Memorial Drive, features 42 luxury condos, some with extensive floor plans.
There is a mix of buildings that have units for purchase and rental, Meyers said.
“The Sophie and Giorgetti offer location, location, location for buyers,” Meyers said. “For those new to high-rise living, yet want to experience all the amenities afforded by the lifestyle, there are new buildings offering sleek rental units such as the buildings been constructed by the city’s top developers of luxury high-rises.”
Builders have choices going up throughout Uptown, Galleria and River Oaks, Meyers added.
“Each affords a distinct lifestyle that fits anyone who wants that lock-and-leave home. You simply need to see where you wish to find your slice of the sky,” said Meyers.
