Decomposing body found in Georgia house by potential buyer
MACON, Ga. (AP) — Authorities in Georgia say a man’s decomposing body has been found in an abandoned Macon house by a man looking to buy the property.
Bibb County Deputy Coroner Lonnie Miley tells The Telegraph that Arthur Williams was dead for at least six days prior to being found. The man found Williams’ Wednesday afternoon and called authorities, who Miley says are investigating this as a “suspicious death.”
Coroner Leon Jones says Williams was wearing a medical alert bracelet emblazoned with his name. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is set to conduct an autopsy.
