Authorities: Evicted woman sought for setting home on fire
UPPER DARBY, Pa. (AP) — Authorities say a woman evicted from a Pennsylvania home set the residence on fire and then called the homeowner to report what she had done.
Upper Darby police say 29-year-old Tracey Davis is being sought on several charges, including reckless endangerment, causing a catastrophe and arson.
The fire occurred early Sunday. After it was extinguished, authorities allegedly found a pile of clothing in the middle of the room that apparently had been set on fire.
A witness also told police that they saw Davis at the scene minutes before the fire was spotted.
Davis had been removed from the home in February. But authorities haven’t provided further details.
