Home Builders Association advocating for homeowners, Columbus as a whole
The Columbus Home Builders Association (HBA) is a multifaceted organization comprised of about 35 local businesses.
The chapter is involved in all things locally related to home building and ownership and also serves as an advocate for the community in terms of ensuring that laws and codes are favorable for those aiming to plant roots in Columbus.
“Our mission statement is really housing affordability and safe homes,” said Levi Abbott, president of the Columbus Home Builders Association. “We want every builder in the community building up to code, building correctly and we want to make sure that government regulation is not excessive or add to the cost of building or maintaining a home.”
