Agent Signs With Iowa Septuplets

December 18, 1997

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) _ If the seven little McCaugheys ought to be in pictures, their agent will have to OK the deal.

Barely a month old and still hooked up to machines to help them eat, the Iowa septuplets already have star quality _ and agent Wes Yoder to help them sort out all the offers.

Their mom and dad, Bobbi and Kenny McCaughey, signed with Nashville’s Ambassador Artist Agency, which will handle the family’s media dealings _ fielding 50 to 100 calls a day _ as well as any publishing, photo and movie deals.

``These are very unpresumptuous people, very honest,″ Yoder said Wednesday. ``That’s why the story has resonated with people around the world.″

The little McCaugheys _ the world’s only living septuplets _ were born Nov. 19. The parents said Monday that Kenneth, Alexis, Natalie, Kelsey, Brandon, Nathan and Joel are in fair condition at Blank Children’s Hospital in Des Moines, breathing on their own.
