WILLIAMSON — Charges against a Mingo County school bus driver accused of driving students to a soccer game while under the influence were dropped Monday in Boone County Magistrate Court.

David Lee Justice Jr., 34 was charged in August 2018 with driving under the influence with child endangerment.

It was later found that Justice had some medical issues and he has been undergoing treatment since that time.

A Boone County Magistrate Court document stated all charges have been dropped.

The original criminal complaint says a state Division of Natural Resources officer spotted the bus weaving across the center line of a highway and pulled it over.

Justice’s father, Mingo County Magistrate David Justice, told the Huntington Herald-Dispatch his son likely was dehydrated or suffering a medical issue.
