Crafton Heights man sentenced to 12 years for heroin trafficking

A Crafton Heights man was sentenced Thursday to 12 years in prison for distributing heroin, according to the office of U.S. Attorney Scott W. Brady.

The prison term for Glaudis Lawrence, 45, will be followed by eight years of supervision, according to a news release.

Lawrence was indicted on accusations of conspiring with others to distribute 100 or more grams of heroin in the region between January and July 2016. The arrest was made by members of the Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Task Force which is composed of federal authorities and local and state law enforcement.
