Robbery suspect who assaulted store employee sought by Havasu police

A beauty supply business at The Shops in Lake Havasu City was robbed late Monday night and a reward has been offered to help catch the person believed to be responsible.

According to City Police, they responded to Sally Beauty Supply at about 9:05 p.m. Monday for a robbery that had just occurred.

Police said an unknown male suspect wearing a mask entered the business and assaulted an employee before fleeing with an unknown amount of cash.

Tuesday afternoon, a store employee didn’t comment when asked what had happened. But yellow tape encircled one side of the entrance and finger print powder could be seen on the inside door frame.

Detectives with the Lake Havasu City Police Department are investigating the incident and attempting to obtain surveillance footage.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to call Havasu Police at 928-855-1171.

Also, Silent Witness will pay a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of anyone involved. Anonymous information can be called into Lake Havasu Silent Witness at 928-854-8477. Citizens can utilize the police department’s anonymous text messaging tip service by texting LHCPD and your message to “CRIMES” or 274637.

Tips can also be submitted anonymously through a web page based tip service at www.tipsoft.com or via the “TipSubmit” mobile application. Anyone using Android, Windows or Apple platforms can download the LHCPD app and submit a tip through the app as well.

This investigation is ongoing and more details will follow when they are received.
