LHNE Football looks to rebound from ugly loss with meeting at Howells/Dodge
The Lutheran High Northeast football team is 2-1 on the season after dropping a 70-66 home decision to Wakefield last Friday.
Jaxson Kant had eight touchdowns on the night. He ran for 232 yards off 25 carries and six scores. Kant through the air was 15-25 for 286 yards and two touchdowns. Teammate Ben Gebhardt caught twelve balls for 250 yards and two scores. Between the Eagles & Trojans, there was 136 points and 1125 yards of total offense. Lutheran High Northeast has beaten Winnebago & Omaha Nation while falling to Wakefield. They are outscoring their opponents on average through three contests 71.7-42.7. The Eagles now turns their attention to Omaha World Herald fifth ranked and Lincoln Journal Star sixth ranked 2-1 Howells/Dodge on Friday night at 7:00 in a game that can be heard on 106 KIX.
