Wapwallopen Woman Wanted For Allegedly Selling Drugs

A Wapwallopen woman is wanted for selling drugs. Hazleton police filed an arrest warrant against Kaitlyn Lockard, 23, on Tuesday for felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. Anyone who has contact with Lockard is asked to contact Hazleton police by calling 911. The charge stems from an investigation that lasted from October through December 2018 involving Hazleton’s narcotics division and the Luzerne County Drug Task Force. Uniformed Hazleton police officers were assisting the narcotics division with a traffic stop during the investigation where Lockard was found in possession of 200 bags of fentanyl, according to a press release. She attempted to toss the drug out of the window of the sedan she was a passenger in and was traveling back to the Wapwallopen area to distribute the drug, police said. — STAFF REPORT
