Net new assets excluding mutual fund clearing totaled $18.4 billion. Total client assets were $3.38 trillion as of month-end May, up 13% from May 2017 and up 2% compared to April 2018. Average interest-earning assets on the company’s balance sheet were a record $242.6 billion in May, up 13% from May 2017, and up 1% compared to April 2018.
