4 arrested in raid; police find drugs, guns
Police arrested four men and seized drugs and guns during a raid on Fort Wayne’s southeast side Wednesday night.
The Fort Wayne Police Department’s Gang and Violent Crimes Unit executed its third raid of the year around 5:45 p.m. at 4216 Plaza Drive, a hangout for narcotics dealing and the C’s, a criminal street gang, Sgt. Gary J. Hensler said.
Kevieun Lewis, 30, was caught after he jumped out of a window and fled. He was charged with resisting law enforcement, cocaine possession and had two outstanding warrants, police said.
Three men, ages 33, 25 and 24, were all charged with misdemeanor visiting a common nuisance.
Detectives found three handguns, including a stolen handgun; 25 grams of cocaine; five grams of marijuana; and drug paraphernalia. There might be other arrests, police said.
The raid was on the heels of another raid Tuesday at 3302 McKinnie Ave.
