_ WOMEN FOUND DEAD: A man sentenced to death for the murders of a woman and her two adult daughters in suburban Cleveland is set for trial this summer in Stark County in the shooting deaths of an Ohio couple.

_ DEAD SONS-MOTHER CHARGED: A Bellefontaine woman accused of suffocating her three sons has a new trial date.

_ FATAL CRASH-BICYCLIST: The State Highway Patrol says a woman in Ohio lost control of the bicycle she was riding, rode over a road’s center line and was fatally struck by a minivan in Warren County.

_ KENT STATE SHOOTINGS-COMMEMORATION: Nearly 500 people gathered at Kent State University to remember the students killed and injured there on May 4, 1970, when Ohio National Guard members opened fire during Vietnam War protests.




CLEVELAND _ A person familiar with Cleveland’s coaching search tells The Associated Press the Cavaliers have scheduled an interview this week with San Antonio assistant Ettore Messina. Messina’s coaching resume includes numerous titles while coaching in Europe. The 59-year-old Messina has been on Gregg Popovich’s staff since 2014. By Tom Withers. SENT: 350 words, photos.


BBN--GIANTS-REDS BEE DELAY: A swarm of bees settled above the backstop screen shortly before the first pitch, prompting an 18-minute delay to the start of a game in Cincinnati between the Giants and Reds.
