New manager Bell part of Reds Caravan visit to mall

HUNTINGTON — Cincinnati Reds fans will have the chance to hear in person new manager David Bell’s vision for the team.

Cincinnati’s first-year manager is scheduled to be on the Reds Caravan stop at the Huntington Mall from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 19. Bell is scheduled to be joined by outfielders Phillip Ervin and Jesse Winker, minor league outfielder Stuart Fairchild, catching instructor and former major league player Corky Miller, broadcaster Thom Brennaman, team president and chief operating officer Phil Castellini, assistant general manager Sam Grossman and mascot Mr. Redlegs.

The group is part of the East Tour of the Caravan, which also has visits scheduled to the Athens (Ohio) Community Center from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 17; the Charleston Town Center mall from 5:45 to 7:45 p.m. Jan. 18; the Grand Central Mall in Parkersburg from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Jan. 19; and the Florence Mall in Florence, Kentucky, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 20.

Players and team officials will be available for autographs.

There is no charge for admission.
