ST. PAUL, Minn. — Lisa Najarian has suffered from Lyme disease for 19 years. She started the Twin Cities Lyme Foundation and raised $148,000 at the group’s first gala this month. The foundation uses an assessment tool to help individuals experiencing poor health determine if they have Lyme disease. The foundation donates $1,000 per person toward getting a diagnosis and connects people with doctors who have been certified by the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society.
