Teens walk the runway at Richards to benefit BCA

April 8, 2019

GREENWICH — More than 20 local students strutted down the runway in the hottest spring fashions from Richards at the annual Breast Cancer Alliance Junior Committee Fashion Show on Sunday.

Students from Greenwich High School, Greenwich Academy, Brunswick School, Sacred Heart Greenwich, Greens Farm Academy and Bronxville High School took to the runway.

A variety of casual and formal spring looks were modeled featuring the designers Veronica Beard, Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino, Alexander McQueen and more.

Funds raised from the event will benefit breast health services for underserved women throughout Connecticut and Westchester County.

Event co-chairs Meg Russell, Elisa Wilson and Xandy Duffy said “This wonderful annual event is a great way for our teens to support BCA while having fun at the same time. We are proud to have such a committed group of high school students from across Fairfield and Westchester Counties represented here today and hope they continue their involvement with BCA long after they head off to college.”
