Image of Asia: Wanting answers about missing Malaysian plane
In this photo by Joshua Paul, a relative of a passenger on Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 looks on during a news conference presented by family members who are demanding more information after Malaysia’s Civil Aviation Authority declared the missing plane had crashed. A group of 21 relatives flew from China to Kuala Lumpur last week. They’ve previously argued for the declaration to be rescinded because of the absence of evidence of a crash. Jing Hong Xu, whose mother was on MH370, said no one from the Malaysian government had met with them after they went to the prime minister’s office to get more information and a meeting with Malaysia Airlines officials had yielded nothing. “We ask a lot of questions, but no answers,” she said.
