Boston Private Enhances Private Lending Services with Strategic Hire

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov 27, 2018--Boston Private, a leading provider of fully integrated wealth management, trust and private banking services, today announced that Karen Roses has joined the firm as Senior Director of Private Bank Lending.

In the newly created role, Ms. Roses will work to enhance the firm’s strategy for custom credit solutions and products for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. She will be responsible for structuring complex and creative private loans, and will act as the senior-most lending officer for the business. Ms. Roses will be based in Boston and will report to Charles Nilsen, National Director of Private Client Lending at Boston Private.

Prior to joining Boston Private, Ms. Roses worked at Bank of America and its predecessor banks for 18 years, most recently as a private client manager for U.S. Trust. Prior to her role at U.S. Trust, she was an associate in Fleet Boston’s media and entertainment large corporate lending division.

Ms. Roses received her B.A. in economics and German from Connecticut College. She is currently on the Board of Overseers for the Massachusetts Society of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
