Man allegedly found with marijuana plants on front porch
HUNTINGTON — The following information was provided by criminal complaints filed in Cabell County Magistrate Court:
POSSESSION: One person was arrested Monday in the 4800 block of Pleasant View Road in Huntington after an anonymous tip to police alleged he was growing marijuana in plain view on his porch.
Dan Warren Kendrick, 46, was jailed at 8:45 p.m. Monday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with manufacturing a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance. Bond was $45,000.
According to a police report, Kendrick was found in possession of six marijuana plants on his front porch and approximately one pound of additional marijuana.
Kendrick gave written consent for police to search the residence, upon which he was allegedly found to be in possession of Suboxone, for which he did not have a prescription.

The following information was provided by booking records kept at Western Regional Jail:
Billy Ray Hunt, 50, was jailed at 12:20 p.m. Tuesday. Authorities in Cabell County arrested him on an active warrant. Bond was not set.
Christina Wade, 30, was jailed at 4:40 p.m. Monday. Authorities in Lincoln County charged her with two counts of child abuse creating a risk of injury. Bond was $50,000.
