Did you know you can renew your Briggs Library books online?

November 16, 2018

The holidays are busy times for everyone and we don’t always have time to return our library books on the day they are due. Avoid those pesky 5-cents-a-day overdue fines.

It only takes a couple of minutes to access your Briggs Lawrence County Public Library account online to renew your library items for a later due date.

To access your account, go to www.briggslibrary.com and click on Library Catalog on the left hand side. Click on Log In on the upper right hand corner and enter your 14-digit library card number and PIN (your default PIN is the last four digits of your library card number).

From there, you can access your account to see what you have checked out and when the items are due.

As long as the items are not on request from other library patrons, you can renew those items two times before they need to be returned.

You can update your account, change your contact information, change your PIN, and create an EZ Login user name and password.

You can also place hold requests on almost any item in the collections belonging to Briggs Library and its Ohio partner libraries and the item will be sent to the library of your choice for later pickup.

For more information about Briggs Library online account management, contact your local branch. All Briggs library locations will close at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21 and be closed on Thursday, Nov. 22 to observe Thanksgiving Day.

Young children and their caregivers are invited to enjoy stories, music, rhymes, games and crafts at all Briggs Library locations. The weekly preschool schedule is:
