King’s Academy grads advised not to ‘chase world’

FLORENCE, S.C. – Twenty-eight students graduated from The King’s Academy Friday evening in the school’s gymnasium.

Of the 28 students, four students received the Palmetto Fellows scholarship, 12 students received the Life scholarship and 10 graduates received the HOPE scholarship. The 2019 graduates were awarded $1,432,370 in scholarships. All of the students have been accepted into a college or university of their choice.

Sarah Blackmon received the President’s Award for Educational Excellence. This award is given to seniors who have earned all A’s in every subject for every grading period in their high school career.
