Brian Fite rolls 71st 300
HUNTINGTON — Brian Fite’s 71st sanctioned 300 game was a highlight this week on the Tri-State bowling scene.
Fite rolled a perfect game in the roll-off for the Saturday Night Mixed League title at Dixie Lane sin Grayson, Kentucky. Fite shot 246-205-300 for 751.
It was his 51st perfect game as a Huntington USBC member and his fourth at Dixie Lanes in his hometown.
• Chad Cartmell closed out his doubles division in the Huntington USBC Tournament at Strike Zone Bowling Center with a perfect game. It was his first sanctioned 300 and helped him shoot a 747 series.
• Terry Turner II rolled a perfect game in the Texas Roadhouse/Elite Paint & Body League at Strike Zone Bowling Center. The 300 was the 40th of Turner’s lifetime.
• The Huntington USBC’s annual meeting is May 20 at Strike Zone Bowling Center. Activities start at 6:30 p.m. All-City Teams for men, women, seniors and juniors will be named. Election of board officers also on the agenda. Food and beverage provided.
