ISU golf team cards 3rd-lowest score in program history at Red Rocks Invitational

The Idaho State golf team finished with its third-lowest tournament score in program history Sunday by shooting a 949 at the Red Rocks Invitational in Cornville, Arizona.

The Bengals shot a 311 in round 1, 322 in round 2 and 316 in round 3. The 311 in round 1 was the 10th-lowest round in program history.

Tya Seth led the Bengals with a 228 (76-79-73), tying for 62nd. Her 73 in round 3 tied for the sixth-lowest score in program history, and her 228 tied for the third-lowest tournament score in program history.

Abby Kadrmas finished the tournament with a 232 (75-76-81), tying the school record for the eighth-best tournament score in school history.

Tyler Erickson shot a 234 (76-79-79), which tied for the 12th-lowest tournament score in school history.

Hadley Hersh shot a 255 for the tournament (84-88-83) and Brooke Williams finished the tournament with a 273 (91-94-88).

ISU finished 18th at the 18-team tournament.
