Limehouse Wins Churchill Feature

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) _ Limehouse caught First Money in the final furlong and won by 4 1/2 lengths in Sunday’s featured $162,750 Bashford Manor for 2-year-olds at Churchill Downs.

The Todd Pletcher-trained chestnut colt, with Robby Albarado aboard, covered six furlongs on the fast track in 1:10.62 and paid $8, $4.20 and $2.10.

First Money paid $14 and $2.10. Cuvee, the 1-2 favorite, was another two lengths back in third and paid $2.10.

Limehouse, owned by the Dogwood Stable, earned $100,905 to push his career earnings to $197,935. The colt is unbeaten in three starts.

Churchill’s 52-day spring meeting ended Sunday.
