Man arrested in felony drug bust
A man is in jail facing eight counts of drug possession and a delivery charge after officers searched his Jackson house.
An officer smelled marijuana coming from Robert Nelson’s house around 9 p.m. Thursday, reports stated.
“They cleared the apartment and secured the scene while they applied for a search warrant,” Jackson police Lt. Roger Schultz said. “The man who opened the door appeared to be dazed and under the influence of a controlled substance.”
Police found LSD, mushrooms, cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana, liquid THC, grinders, syringes, digital scales and prescription pills.
Nelson was arrested for three felony counts of possession and five counts of misdemeanor possession. He was also charged with intent to deliver, police said.
The 27-year-old Jackson man remains in Teton County Jail.
Police said they’re working on getting an arrest warrant for another man they believe was involved. His name has not been released.
