Man robbed of pants, valuables

November 18, 2018

A 30-year man was reportedly robbed of his pants and valuables early Friday morning.

The Rochester Police Department was called to the Holiday Inn Express, on 16th Avenue Southwest, shortly after 2 a.m. Friday for a report of man who came into the hotel lobby not wearing any pants, according to Capt. Casey Moilanen.

The man, who is staying in Rochester, told police through an interpreter that he had been at Dooley’s Pub and accepted a ride from two women. Instead of bringing him home, the women allegedly drove him to an unknown location where two men opened the car door, hit him, took his pants, phone, keys and $900 in cash before leaving him.

The man found his way to the hotel, where employees called police.
